Best VPS Hosting Alternatives to OVH?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been with OVH for over 15 years using their dedicated servers, VPS, domains, etc., but I’m tired of their poor support and clunky interface. Looking for some good alternatives.

I checked out Scaleway, but reviews suggest it might have similar issues to OVH. I also saw Ionos has great reviews, though they seem almost too good to be true. Anyone here have experience with them or other good options with competitive pricing for small VPS setups, domains, and more?

Contabo’s VPS isn’t great in my experience, but I’ve been curious about their dedicated servers. Any feedback?

Contabo’s network is hit or miss—especially in places like Singapore. Lots of downtime with no resolution from support.

That’s disappointing but makes sense given the pricing.

Been with Hetzner for years—solid reliability. The cloud interface is great too.

For comparison, Vultr’s $20/month gets 4GB RAM + 80GB storage, but Hetzner offers similar for around €7.

I left OVH for Scaleway’s parent company, Online.net. Azure is solid too for VPS options.

Moved from OVH to Hetzner. Better servers and cleaner interface, though Hetzner does have some country-specific access restrictions.

Tend to stick with larger providers like DigitalOcean and Linode, but looking forward to trying Hetzner on an EU project. Good things heard so far.
