We recently migrated our domain from domain.net to domain.com, and the technical aspects went smoothly. We even made sure to inform our customers about the migration beforehand.
However, we are now encountering an unexpected issue: some customers are facing problems with the new domain. Their ISP-provided routers are flagging the new domain as a phishing attempt, labeling it as “insecure.” Naturally, this is raising concerns among our customers.
I’m currently reaching out to the relevant departments to get our site whitelisted. But realistically, was there anything different I could have done to prevent this issue?
