Speaking as someone who works in hosting, these takeovers are almost always bad. The focus shifts from quality service to squeezing every last dollar out of the business. The best people usually leave first, and they don’t get replaced. I’d start looking for a new host now.
Money wins, customer support loses.
Used Verpex before moving to 20i. Now I avoid any host owned by investment firms.
WHG is terrible. I was with a host they acquired, and support went from near-instant responses to waiting days with no reply.

WebHostPython. I also tried Verpex, and support was just as bad. WHG feels like another Newfold.
