Downsides of Microsoft Clarity vs. HotJar?

Hi all,

I’m deciding between Clarity and HotJar. Clarity’s free, which is appealing, but I’m not thrilled about their third-party advertising policy. Are there any other downsides to Clarity compared to HotJar or Google Analytics?

Clarity is free, but it’s a bit limited. It covers basic user behavior, but HotJar and GA offer more advanced features, like A/B testing and more flexible heatmaps. Data storage with Clarity might not be as adaptable, and integrating with other tools could be trickier. Also, Clarity’s community and support aren’t as extensive. If you need advanced functionality or high data volumes, HotJar or GA might be a better choice.
