Would anyone be interested in a video tutorial on setting up a DigitalOcean server with cPanel that’s scalable and offers good margins without high costs?
I just searched YouTube for ‘cPanel on DigitalOcean’ and saw plenty of videos. How would yours be different? Are you planning to include an affiliate link for DigitalOcean?
Just a heads-up—cPanel itself isn’t exactly cheap.
You can install cPanel with a single click from DigitalOcean’s marketplace. Here’s the link: cPanel & WHM® for Ubuntu. For further settings, cPanel’s documentation covers everything.
I’m interested in the ‘infinitely scalable and inexpensive’ part since DigitalOcean droplets do get costly eventually, sometimes more than a dedicated server with similar specs.
You could try DigitalOcean Droplets with the Enhance Control panel. I’ve been using it for over a week now, and it’s worth checking out.
Just go for it. Upload the video on YouTube and see how it does.
There are definitely right and wrong ways to set it up. I’ve made my share of mistakes over the years.
For example, using an external volume for website files can allow you to add as many sites as you want without needing to scale up the server itself.
