How to Navigate GoDaddy Refunds?

Hi folks…

I have a client who wants to move everything under Wix, instead of having the domain hosted by GoDaddy and everything else under wordpress /elementor.

The client started an annual plan on GoDaddy 1 month and 2 days ago. I’ve seen a lot of conflicting information about how forgiving GoDaddy is with refunds and cancellations, especially after the 30-day mark. Does anyone have experience with this or know the best way to approach getting a refund from GoDaddy?

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you don’t have much experience, attempting to move their firm could be detrimental. Changing from Wix entails more than just changing the website; it affects their entire business structure and activities. Wix is not a solution to your lack of skills. You should prioritize what’s best for their business over what’s easiest for you. For someone with more knowledge, fixing a WordPress or WooCommerce site is simple, and it can also result in far reduced hosting costs than Wix. What you’re advocating will not save them money or provide any meaningful benefits; it will only create new problems.

GoDaddy refunds are tough after 30 days. Be persistent, check their policy, and consider alternatives if needed.

To navigate GoDaddy refunds, log in to your account, go to “Order History,” and select the relevant order. Choose “Request Refund” and follow the prompts. Ensure you check their refund policy and eligibility criteria before applying.
