How to Transfer Out of iPage Before Renewal Fee?

Hi y’all…I’m looking to transfer my domain away from iPage before they renew it for $240. The problem is, iPage doesn’t give me access to transfer my domain to Cloudflare or any other service right now.

Do I have to pay the renewal fee before I can transfer the domain, or is there another way to handle this? Any advice on how to transfer out smoothly or avoid the renewal fee would be really appreciated. Thanks :wink:

Since domain and hosting are different services, transferring a domain will require you to move your data, update your nameservers, and execute the migration of your active website. To transfer the domain, you have to be able to get in touch with iPage and ask for an authorization number.
