Is Bluehost a good choice for a mid-sized website?

I run a website that gets between 50k and 90k visitors a month from the USA. I also have two smaller sites, each getting around 5k visitors monthly.

I was using Hostinger before, but I made the mistake of signing up for a two-year plan. Their service has been disappointing, and now I’m looking for a better option.

Would Bluehost be a good choice? Also, what do you think about GoDaddy?

Bluehost? No.

GoDaddy? No.

Both are bad. Just do a quick search here and you’ll see.

If you look around, you’ll see that all three hosts you mentioned get bad reviews. But their huge marketing budgets sure make them seem popular.

Bluehost went downhill after it was acquired. Wouldn’t recommend.

GoDaddy isn’t much better.

If you like dealing with slow speeds and frustration, go with Bluehost. If you want a good hosting experience, choose someone else.

Since you’re already stuck with Hostinger for two years, maybe keep your smaller sites there and move your main site somewhere better. For 50k to 90k visitors, a managed hosting provider like Rapyd Cloud could be a good fit. They offer scalability and free migration, so the switch would be easy. You’d probably see better speed and support compared to Bluehost or GoDaddy.

Why do people keep going for the worst hosting companies?

Marketing tricks people into bad decisions.

Both are terrible. Bluehost might even be worse than Hostinger.

If you’re on a budget, check out NameCrane. If you want something better, KnownHost or NixiHost would be solid choices.

So you’re switching from one bad host to another? That’s not an upgrade.

Most of the big hosting companies are only famous because of their advertising, not their quality.

Bad hosting doesn’t just cost money—it costs time, too.

What’s your budget? With your traffic, you might be better off with a VPS. Finding good shared hosting can be tricky because the worst ones have the best ads.

Bluehost is owned by EIG. That alone is a red flag.

Bluehost used to have good customer service. Now? Almost nonexistent.

GoDaddy has actually improved, but I still wouldn’t recommend it.

Bluehost is bad for any kind of website.

If you think Hostinger was bad, wait until you try Bluehost.

And GoDaddy… let’s not even go there.

GoDaddy is overpriced and sneaky with their pricing, but the actual service isn’t horrible.

Bluehost, on the other hand, is a disaster.

Stay away from Bluehost.

Nope.
