I tried to purchase a .shop domain that was listed at $0.98. It added to my cart with a subtotal of $1.16, and I proceeded to check out. The payment went through, but during registration, I was taken to a screen saying, “Oh no, your order failed to complete. The failed items will be returned shortly.”
Now, when I search for the domain, it’s listed as a premium domain for $1,000. It was still in my cart, so I tried to buy it again, but ended up on the same “Oh no” screen.
I contacted support, and they told me that “the price was shown as $1.16 due to a system glitch” and that “it was a Premium domain from the beginning.” This explanation leaves me feeling disappointed and cheated, as premium domains are typically marked as such from the start.
I’m not sure what to do next since support hasn’t offered any further assistance. Any advice?
