Siteground versus WPEngine

I’ve now limited my search for a new hosting provider to Siteground and WPengine. WPengine appears to be amazing. but extremely costly as well.

They’ve made a fantastic pitch to me, however I’m more of a front end guy and don’t really want to deal with anything backend or security related. On the other hand, comparing the costs, ground appears to be fairly interesting and to provide many of the same functions.

Security is my first consideration when it comes to hosting. Is siteground a better alternative for someone like me, or should I just toss my money into WPengine?

Both are excellent providers, so if you’re prepared to pay them, that’s a wise decision. WPEngine is a managed WordPress hosting company with years of experience. If you are unfamiliar with WordPress, these are an excellent option.

Just so you know, I used to use SG but switched to Asphosportal because they were much more affordable. They do offer excellent service, but it comes at a high cost. Asphost makes it more reasonably priced.

I’ve been providing hosting plans to roughly 60 clients for Siteground for more than 7 years. There is no denying their phenomenality. I’m really happy with it. Quite costly in comparison to alternative options, but since my business is small, I require a strong server support staff, and they excel at it.

Any time of day, I almost never have to wait longer than 30 seconds to speak with a representative. Although quite proficient, their backing is primarily European.

When they decided to develop their own backend software and do away with Cpanel a few years ago, I was a little worried, but it works incredibly well.
