Hey there,
I’m looking for a web hosting provider where I can create at least 20-30 email accounts for my domain without using Office 365 or Google Workspace. Trying to avoid breaking the bank here.
Any recommendations on hosts that allow this?

It’s often better to separate email hosting from web hosting. An all-in-one host can be hit or miss. For email, Purelymail is only $10/year for unlimited users and domains.

I was actually checking out Purelymail—seems affordable, but it’s a small company. Feels risky to depend on one person for all my emails.
With anti-spam regulations, it’s tough to find unlimited email options. Think about your needs carefully before committing.
The idea of ‘unlimited’ doesn’t always fit with 20-30 users. If you’re looking at Office365, keep in mind it’s all per-user based and can get costly. Are you only considering Office365, or are there other options you’d look into?
MXroute is a solid choice if you’re okay with some setup. It’s email-only, so you’ll need a separate web host.

I vouch for MXroute, especially around Black Friday when deals are good. If you’re setting up email separately, adjusting DNS isn’t too hard once you get the hang of it.
Zoho Mail is an option, and you can often find renewal discounts.
One.com might work for you. They have an unlimited package, but there’s a fair use policy that caps email storage at 100 GB per year.
Nixihost offers shared hosting with unlimited emails starting around $6/month. I’ve used them for a while, and their support is responsive. They include SSL and security with their packages.
Greengeeks provides unlimited email accounts, and they give you setup instructions for email clients on different devices.
We’ve been happy with KnownHost for email hosting.
With Office365, you can set up shared mailboxes to avoid per-user fees.

Can you explain how shared mailboxes work in Office365?
Netnexushosting.com could be an option if you need around 50 emails.

Thanks! I’m checking them out now.
Several hosts offer this, like A2 Hosting and KnownHost. I would still recommend keeping email on a separate host like MXroute.
Hostinger and Zoho Mail both have affordable plans for unlimited emails. Worth checking out if you need more than one email account.
Zoho is less expensive than Office365, but keep in mind it’s pay-per-user.

Zoho does have a pay-per-user model, which might not be ideal if you’re looking for high volume.
