Whitelabel users forced to display ads… can't remove?

In the user cPanel, under the WP Toolkit section, there are ads that are being forced on us. This goes against the white label agreements for customers who choose that option. You can’t offer white label services and then throw in affiliate links, third-party sales, or ads that show it’s cPanel. It also takes away from the white label experience our customers are paying for.

This is worrying because it could lead to a lawsuit and cause prices to rise even more. cPanel is already expensive.

Please remove the banner ads at the bottom of the control panel promoting monitoring services for WP Toolkit, as well as the slider that links to “vulnerability protection” pushing Patchstack services. Also, the link to the cPanel developers for hire should be removed.

These features should be off by default, and white label users should have the option to turn them on if needed.

Hey! Can you send me more details about the cPanel developers for hire link?

Unfortunately, the other issues have been decided and will remain part of the product.

I own several hosting companies. My reseller clients don’t like these ads because they compete directly with their own services.

Who even uses cPanel anymore? You get what you signed up for…

  • Worst web server ever
  • Then they fork it!
