It’s possible your server was hacked for spam. Make sure to firewall any unnecessary protocols.
ISS servers can be compromised pretty easily if not secured well.
Did you have DOS protection enabled? UCEProtect can sometimes list servers over spam traps or port scans if there’s a lot of traffic.
