Hey everyone, just like the title says.
Dreamhost doesn’t support catch-all emails, so I’m looking for some advice on where to move.
I’ve been with Dreamhost for over 10 years, but I need catch-all email support for this client/domain, and Dreamhost doesn’t offer it. They also can’t pay by user, so services like Google or Microsoft are out.
I’d appreciate any suggestions!
You might need to look into self-hosting with Mailcow. Keep in mind, though, catch-all emails can be a big target for spam.
Funny, I was just checking Dreamhost last week to see if they supported catch-all emails too.
Any host that uses cPanel usually supports it, unless they’ve removed the feature. It’s called “Default Address” in cPanel, not catch-all, and you’ll find it on the main cPanel page.
You might need a better email service provider. Dreamhost isn’t great for that. I recommend Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
