I need assistance; I'm now paying $400 a month to Siteground

Hi there,

My website was housed on WPX shared hosting; however, because of an excessively huge database and numerous MYSQL queries, our website was suspended. I’ve now moved to Siteground dedicated cloud hosting, which has a 12 core CPU and 22GB of RAM. I was experiencing frequent CPU and RAM spikes, which prevented me from even accessing my website.

I paid someone to optimize the database, but since Siteground is still inconsistent even at $400 per month, I think I also need to switch servers.

Kindly provide a hosting business or some assistance for me that can manage big databases and MySQL requests.

Most providers will provide you two servers for that amount of money, one of which will have twice as much RAM and CPU as the other and probably a faster CPU as well. And an NVMe SSD-powered “storage optimized” server for the database on the back end.

It’s not always the site itself that uses a lot of resources; sometimes it’s the webserver, cache, http protocol, and other similar choices. Hiring experts to optimize can be expensive if you want highly skilled workers.

For all of your static material, a content delivery network (CDN) could be quite helpful. To do this, you can employ object storage, or just a CDN service that serves as your website’s front end and load balancer.

Switch suppliers. With that price, you could obtain a dedicated server with a lot more power. Several vendors may give you the most recent Xeon Silver 4210R, which has 40 vCPU, 128 GB DDR4 RAM, and two 1 TB NVMe SSDs.

There are a few more potential causes for the high CPU and RAM spike and the high MySQL request, including DDoS or bot attacks.

Do you currently use a content delivery network (CDN) such as CloudFlare? They could provide you with some security against bot attacks and DDoS and assist you in alleviating your server of excessive traffic through their CDN solution.

Check the server access log, if you can. Search for any recurring access to a PHP file, such as xmlrpc.php or similar.
