Is ScalaHosting the best choice for hosting Minecraft servers?
Their support is great, you can expect a response within 10 minutes.
They have great reviews, though I haven’t used them personally. I’d say they’re a good choice based on what I’ve seen - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.scalahosting.com
Other options I’d recommend are PiglinHost (I use them currently) or Apex Hosting, which is good but more expensive and has more server locations.
ScalaHosting is a solid option for Minecraft servers. They help optimize the server to boost performance.
If you can manage it, try running your server on a VPS. Oracle Cloud offers VMs with 24GB of RAM for free. You could also use Linode or Vultr, which allow you to host other apps simultaneously using ports.
If you’re looking for something simple, Aternos is an option for throwaway servers.
You can get domains from Freenom to make your server’s IP look nicer.
@August
That’s a great idea, why didn’t I think of that?
What’s Freenom?

Sorry, I meant Freenom. It’s a domain registrar.
I’ve never heard of them.
Honestly, they’re overpriced for game hosting.

Can you recommend any quality hosting services that are more affordable?

I’m a bit biased since I run my own hosting company, but other affordable options include Forestracks.
