I have been trying for weeks to reduce the loading speed of my website and I am desperate. This, in addition to the recent price increase of Siteground (which already seemed too high) makes me think about changing hosting. Can you think of any other faster hosting company? There are many comparisons in Google, but all of them give me the feeling of being sponsored. It is impossible to read a rigorous and honest analysis, can you help me, please?
Most website performance issues are not caused by hosting providers. SiteGround is not inherently problematic. Before migrating your site, run tests to diagnose the issues. WordPress is excellent, but a single bad plugin can cause problems. Use Lighthouse to get optimization suggestions for CSS, images, external API calls, and plugins. Ensure you utilize cache and lazy loading. Identify the problem first, and consider asking SiteGround support for assistance, mentioning that you may move to another provider if issues persist.
I am already using WordPress Rocket. Regarding LSWS, I believe Siteground does not offer it.
I recommend trying a managed hosting solution. They offer an optimized stack with excellent caching options like Redis, Varnish, and memcache. Additionally, they provide an enterprise Cloudflare CDN and other features to help optimize your websiteβs speed.
In my view, SiteGround is not worth the changes they make for us.
I would search for something similar to Kinsta with specialized resources at that price range.
@HOLT Thank you, I will look at Kinsta
