I’m currently working on an API that handles binaries for a modification platform. It will get a fair amount of traffic, mainly through uploads and downloads of several MBs per request. Here’s what I’m looking for:
Budget: Ideally below 50 euros per month, as this is a hobby project.
Location: Anywhere is fine, but central Europe is preferred for latency reasons.
Type of Site: A custom TypeScript API, so I’d like full control—no direct deployment platforms.
Monthly Traffic: Anticipating around 10k downloads of 5MB each day.
Linux Experience: I have plenty of experience with Linux, Ubuntu, and Debian, so I’m fine with a console-only environment.
I checked some providers, but none seemed to align perfectly with what I need. Any suggestions?

I ended up choosing Hostinger. Their best VPS plan goes for $45/month after the initial $20/month contract ends, and the specs align with my needs. I’m also planning to explore caching to reduce bandwidth demands.
