I’ve had a reseller account with Brixly for about a year now, and ever since they were taken over, the spam emails I receive have become unbearable. I’m getting 3–4 spam emails daily from different addresses.
Initially, I considered switching providers, but now I’m also thinking about a VPS setup. I saw some posts recommending Hetzner Cloud and was curious if anyone has experience with them or other good VPS providers. I don’t specifically need cPanel, so I’m open to other control panels if anyone has recommendations.
If you’re looking for web hosting, you might want to check the recommended hosting companies on the sidebar or take a look at our hosting recommendations.
If email is a priority, consider moving to services like Google Workspace, Exchange, or Fastmail, or using a spam filter like Spamexperts. Running your own email server on a VPS can be very challenging and time-consuming, especially with managing spam, IP reputation, and outgoing mail filtering.

Thanks for this! Moving email to Workspace makes sense, as managing my own VPS for email might be too much trouble. It’s really just the spam issue that’s pushing me to consider alternatives.

Running your own email server is definitely a hassle and isn’t very reliable.
A friend of mine in the USA is happy with A2 hosting (it has cPanel). I tried it a couple of years ago and liked it. However, I stick with SiteGround and their in-house panel, SiteTools, as my clients and I are satisfied with it.
I’m with Nixihost on shared hosting and have been happy with them for over a year. My sites load faster, SSL is included, and I haven’t had any email issues so far. Worth a look!
