Why's My Cpanel IMAP Acting Weird All of a Sudden?

Hey folks, so I’ve been using cPanel IMAP for my email for a while now—like, forever. But lately, it’s been doing this weird thing where my emails don’t sync up across my devices. I’ll read something on my phone, but it still shows as unread on my laptop. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it?
